I can't believe it finally happened!!! My spare bedroom rented out...even if it is just for a couple of months...it rented out! A lady friend is having work done to her house and needed a place to stay until the work is done and I was her lucky choice. She paid me 2 months in advance, which I immediately deposited in the bank. I also sold my other computer and desk with chair. I also got some pretty big orders for this week, so (of course) did alot of baking. These things totaled a nice sum for my final deposit of the month!
As far as I'm concerned, we're all winners in this competition. I think we've all learned how to budget our finances and can move on with ease, from now on. I know I will!
I want to say to everyone (following our blogs and the competition): stay on top of your spending; pay off all credit cards (and don't reopen them); only buy what you need (first); and build a nest egg (savings, for emergencies). Then splurge with any extra money you have laying around (not all of it)! You'll be a winner too!!!...like me!
In closing I want to, of course, thank my children (for pushing me into this competition) and a big thank you to AMOCO and the coaches for all they've helped me accomplish. I couldn't have done any of this without any of them!
