We buckled down and reached our personal goal for the month of December, which was to pay off that last credit card. We were determined to free ourselves from 100% of our unsecured debt!!! It was a high number, but focus and determination prevailed, despite all the holiday road blocks!!!
I am so proud of my family. We pulled together and showed what team work can do if you put your mind to it. To all the people following the competition, you can do it. We are prime examples that it can be done. It feels so good to see my money sitting in the bank rather than going to those credit card companies that don't care about what else is going on in your life. Just make up your mind and DO IT!! It feels great!! It doesn't matter how much money you can make, you'll be surprised what you'll find out about yourself and where your money goes.
For those of you going through the same thing without the pressure of the competition to motivate you, find your motivation. Pick a goal, take a picture of it or write it down, then put it on the fridge. When you get frustrated, look at it and remind yourself why you are doing it!!!
Whether we win or not, we are so blessed. We had so many people supporting us. Thank you AMOCO, our coach Terry, our 3rd Coast Friends and all of our other friends that have supported us. From buying us drinks or dinner to giving advice and offering support, we appreciate everything.
So long from the LeDoux family. Don't forget to watch Good Day Houston on January 14th at 9am to find out who won!!!!!

I knew it - congratulations for all your efforts - ann l.
